Verify with your insurance provider that Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is a covered service, ask if there are limitations (like only for people with diabetes, kidney disease, etc), and how many visits are allowed each year.
Ask your Primary Care Provider (PCP) to send an MNT referral to Heart Spirit Nutrition with an ICD-10 code.
Schedule your initial visit with Erix; payment is due at the time of scheduling, consider purchasing a multi-visit package if you are looking for support with things like: FODMAP diet, SIBO diet, weight management, diabetes, kidney disease, other complex conditions.
At the end of the visit a Superbill will be provided to you.
Follow your insurance steps to submit the Superbill for possible reimbursement.
